Wearable Tea Time

One in a new series of collages in which I construct intentionally hermetic environmental narratives, Wearable Tea Time deals obviously with issues of domesticity and bourgeois praxis, but less obviously with ideas of object-oriented ontology and the move away from the anthropic principle. If we could humble ourselves by “becoming” a table, but were stuck using human language to describe the metaphysics of being a table, are we then half table, half human? Is there a new ontology that lies in the interstices between “us” and “them”?
